Position Summary

SolidCAD is seeking an experienced Autodesk Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Implementation Consultant to work with our key customers in order to define, design and implement customized solutions for their PLM processes. This individual will work directly with customers to understand their PLM needs and provide custom solutions built on Autodesk Fusion 360 Manage. The candidate must be legally able to work in Canada. Occasional travel within Canada and USA is expected.

In this role, you will...

Job Requirements:
• Collaborate with sales team: promote technology, visit clients and materialize sales leads.
• Face-to-face interaction with customers: determine customers’ Fusion 360 Manage PLM implementation needs.
• Programming and software development: develop .NET and Java applications for each project.
• Automation: create workflows, HTTP codes, and Java scripts for automation in PLM.
• System architectures: create planning and architecture of PLM implementations.
• Live demonstration: demonstration of the Fusion 360 Manage PLM.
• Analyze requirements: develop proof of concepts and identify business requirements.
• Written specifications: capture business requirements and create complex Statement of Work (SOW) document.
• Project delivery: deliver customized and configured solutions.
• Build partnership: establish credibility at all levels with clients and builds partnerships with clients.
• Project management: oversee implementation of PLM, resource allocation, project management and reporting.
• Lead adoption efforts: provide guidance, support and planning for post-implementation.

About you...

Required Skills and Knowledge:
• Ability to analyze customer requirements and develop solutions to address Customer business scenarios/challenges.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal, planning and organizational skills.
• Strong documentation skills to convey design solutions, process discussions, reference & training materials.
• Knowledge of state-of-the-art engineering and manufacturing best practices, ie; Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing.
• Knowledge of PLM beyond engineering in areas such as Item/BOM, Change Management, Quality, Compliance (Industry, Environmental), Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Field Service.
• Experience with Data management within the MCAD/ mechanical engineering/ manufacturing industry.
• Experience with SaaS models and Cloud based-technology.

Education:
• 4-year bachelor’s degree in computer science, manufacturing or engineering. Advanced degree preferred (MS, MBA, P.Eng, Ph.D).
